A Portrait Shot of ayane. - 久しぶりにポートレート写真に挑戦!?

My friend visited me and we had a good time.

This is my attempt of blind portrait photography, applying all knowledge and technique I have at this moment.


I set the aperture to the maximum number.
Ayane claps her hands right in front of her face.
I just point my camera at the clapping sound, then clicked the shutter.

And I got this result.

It is sort of echolocation applied to portrait photography, isn't it?

If I learn to do flash sonar, or echolocate by tongue click, I get feedback of the subject from the echo of my tongue click, allowing more precise framing when shooting still subjects...



元会社の同僚が遊びに来てくれました。一緒にお好み焼きを食べに行ったとき、写真を撮ろうという流れになったので、全盲の私もトライ。


まず、ポートレート写真なので、絞りは全開放。
顔の前で手を叩いてもらい、その方向にカメラを向ける。
そして、撮影。

こんな結果になりました。

視覚障害者の間では比較的よく知られている、手を叩いてもらってレンズを向ける、いわゆるエコロケーションの応用ですね。
でも、もしダニエルのエコロケーションである、フラッシュ・ソナーを習得すれば、舌打ちをして被写体の大きさや距離を知りえるなら、かなり高い精度で人物写真が取れるのではないでしょうか。
