My search for the man who sees the world with clicks of tongue started after viewing (hearing) the shocking movie... but for me with limited access to the internet, it took more effort than I would imagined...
from the movie, I heard the name of the person but did not know how to spell it. Searching with word like echolocation give numerous results.
Moreover, searching in Japanese gave me totally off-topic results!
Meanwhile, some friends on facebook looked up for any information about him, and my friend sent me a this.

This lead me to the president of the World Access for the Blind, Daniel Kish, and we are getting into a talk... me as the first prospective Japanese student and a serious learner.
「舌打ち男」の動画を見た後、早速その人の正体を知りたくて、全盲になってまだ慣れない音声パソコンを駆使して検索を始めました。
しかし、日本語で「エコロケーション」で検索しても、動画で出てきた人の名前で検索してもヒットしません。
英語で検索しても、かなりの結果が表示され、頭が混乱してきました。
そんな時、Facebookの友人たちが同じ事をしてくれていたらしく、その中の数人から、以下のリンクをもらいました。

これが、将来日本人として始めて舌打ちによるエコロケーションおよびフラッシュ・ソナーの弟子となる私と、「舌打ちで世界を見る男」、ダニエル・キッシュ氏とのやり取りの始まりでした。
